Nick
Nick has worked for the family business since his late teens and had gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from working in period and listed properties. He graduated from De Montfort University in 2005 with a Ba (Hons) in Fine Art. Nick enjoys sculpting, painting and working with metal in his (very little) spare time and is the main creative driving force in the business. With years of experience under his belt your beams and house are in safe hands.
Lucy joined the business in 2017 after graduating from Brighton University with a Ba Hons in English Language and Linguistics. She now manages the office and will most likely be the first person you speak to! She runs a tight ship here and has a wealth of customer service experience. Her friendly and personable manner means she is a great person to talk beams with, so don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re very proud to say that Lucy is also studying towards her Masters is Business Administration.

Peter joined the Back From Black team in 2004 and graduated from De Montfort university in 2005 with his degree in Fine Art. We are always hearing back from clients telling us what a pleasure it is to have Peter in their homes. His diligent manner and attention to detail he will ensure that your timbers are lightened to perfection. Peter also enjoys playing gigs with his guitar in Ireland where he resides with his wife.
